Going to Trident for a dinner buffet sounded very exciting. My family and i were totally looking forward to it... So when we got there we were expecting too much from the place already! As we entered the restaurant the first thing I noticed is the luxurious ambiance. The restaurant was very well lit up and the decor was classy and elegant, perfect for a family meal. The whiff of fresh cooked food drew me towards the buffet spread and i browsed through each and every item on display. The dinner buffet was priced at Rs.850 per head and I think it was quite reasonable considering it was in the Trident and the spread was indeed vast. There were atleast 4-5 different types of Indian mains and some chinese and continental mains. I picked up the chinese hakka noodles, veg au gratin, and then some sabzi with piping hot rotis and biryani. The salad counter was extensive and I was thrilled to see an assorted cheese platter! after so much food i still had some space for desserts. I couldn't choose between moong halva, cheesecake, bread pudding and kiwi mousse so i picked up everything!!! I'd like to make a special mention of the service as being very polite and helpful. Hope i can visit this place again some time soon!!
